The Program
All events are held at the Ouray Community Center at 320 6th Ave.
This is also the pre-set meeting location for all canyon adventures. If you choose to meet elsewhere for your canyon adventure PLEASE be sure to communicate that to ALL the people signed up for trips. We've had folks get left behind before and that's no fun for anyone!
Evening social every night from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Wednesday
All day! - Canyon adventures ON YOUR OWN if you have arrived early.
Please note that we won't be tracking or helping to arrange these trips.
9:00 AM - Ouray Canyon Safety Briefing - Come get the latest info about canyon conditions and the unique hazards that exist for canyoning in the Ouray valley (This same breifing will be repeated tonight)
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Registration check-in table is open
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Evening social
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Sign-up for Thursday canyons!
6:00 PM - Ouray Canyon Safety Briefing - Come get the latest info about canyon conditions and the unique hazards that exist for canyoning in the Ouray valley

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Workshop - Anchors and contingency rigging for flowing water canyons (AKA drowning in mid-air is poor form)

Friday
All day! - Canyon adventures

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Sign-up for Saturday canyons!
6:40 PM - 7:00 PM - Sponsor presentation by our title sponsor Glacier Black!

7:45 PM - Movie night! - Canyon descents around Colorado, outside of Ouray with Ira Lewis
Saturday
All day! - Canyon adventures (This is a good day to plan a slightly shorter adventure so you're back in time for dinner!)
5:00 PM - 6:30 PM - Sign-up for Sunday canyons!
5:30 PM - Buffet Dinner
6:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Canyon coordination meeting - NEW THIS YEAR! - This is the time to get face-to-face with your group for the next day to confirm participants, skill level, gear needed, meeting location, exchange contact info, etc
7:00 PM - Gear raffle to benefit the Ouray Mountain Rescue Team (In 2024 we raised $3,079!)
